"für 24m² " is a study about two materials of different natures – synthetic lacquer and untreated cotton cloth. The contradiction between the two, creates an unique art medium. It's an attempt to break through conventional forms of painting, to change them and investigate its limits. The only visible thing is a wire fence pattern, which also appears in enigmatic form, because one can't really tell how it's made. This motif draws a parallel to the issue of the borders and boundaries and our constant effort to cross them.
