What happens when one removes the content of something (in this case the daily newspapers)? Is there anything left? Everything that was in the newspaper and contained information (pictures and texts) was cut out and the leftover background was glued back, in the exact way it looked before, onto a new sheet of paper. The main function of the newspaper itself is no longer there; they have become unreadable, but an unforeseen new aesthetic content is created.
The cutted remains were then transformed in scaled paintings.
